Who we are
Webtic is a website and local SEO business based in Sydney, Australia. You can reach us at contact@webtic.com.au or on 0423 265 100.
What you send us
The enquiry form asks for:
- name
- email address
- business name, if you give one
- phone number, if you give one
- project type, and a budget range if you choose one
- the message you write
The free website audit asks for:
- the website address you want checked
- name, email and phone
- business name, if you give one
- the score the audit produced, and whether the speed check completed
If you have no website, the same page asks for your name, email, phone, business name, suburb, and trade if you give one, so we can look at what a customer finds when they search for you.
Why we ask
We use enquiry details to reply about the project. We use audit details to follow up on what we would fix first. The audit form says we will not add you to a newsletter or a sales sequence, and that is the limit of that form.
The audit sends the website address to Google PageSpeed Insights so we can measure how it loads on a phone. The address is then stored with the contact details in the email we receive.
Where it goes
Form submissions are emailed to Webtic through Resend, our email provider. They are not written to a database on this site. If the email fails to send, the details may be written to the hosting logs so the enquiry is not lost. Those logs are kept by our host (Vercel) under their own retention.
We do not sell the details. We do not pass them to a list broker.
Analytics and bot checks
When a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured on the production site, Google Analytics loads and may set cookies to measure visits. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure page views and performance. A bot check (BotID) runs on form submissions and may store a cookie to tell a browser from a script.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and audit emails for as long as we need them to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete what we hold about you by emailing contact@webtic.com.au. We will delete what we can still find in the inbox. Copies that have already landed in a person’s mail archive, or in a host log we cannot edit, may remain until that system expires them.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we handled your details, write to us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
